A definition of ready for every stage
Checklists, required fields, child items and approvals: the card moves on when the stage is ready, or by a forced move with a reason.
Turn each workflow status into a stage with a clear definition of ready. Stagecraft checks required items, fields and approvals before a card moves, keeps a live record on the card and runs AI agents you review.
Checklists, required fields, child items and approvals: the card moves on when the stage is ready, or by a forced move with a reason.
Rovo agents or your own AI service suggest checks and drafts; nothing changes on the card until someone reviews it.
Delivery, lead and cycle time, forced moves and rework across spaces, and the stage where cards wait longest.
Stagecraft adds stage gates to Jira Cloud. For each work type you map statuses to stages and say what must be ready to move on: checklist items, required fields, child work items, approvals or the result of an AI agent. The workflow validator blocks the move until the stage is ready, and admins can allow a forced move with a reason.
Every stage visit keeps one live comment on the card: who moved it, what was checked, what is pending, who must answer.
Start from templates (Scrum, Kanban, bugs, discovery, operations), version and publish flows, and see delivery, bottlenecks and process adherence in Indicators.
AI agents run on Rovo or on the AI service your organization brings, and always wait for a person's review. Calls outside Atlassian are off until a Jira admin turns them on.
